Bangus na Sinigang

Stewed Milk Fish
Ingredients:
1 large bangus, cleaned and sliced
2 large tomato, quartered
1 medium onion, quartered
2 pieces green onion, sliced
1 small pack tamarind powder
salt and ground pepper to taste
5 cups of water
COOKING PROCEDURE :
1. In a deep pot, bring water to a boil together with the onion.
2. Add the bangus and tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Add the tamarind powder, green onions, ground pepper and salt to taste.
4. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
5. Remove from heat, let stand covered for 5 minutes and serve.
