Bangus in Black Beans

Boneless bangus cooked in black beans, green papaya, sweet potato leaves, onion and tamarind powder.

The best after all those turkey and ham dinner.

I know bangus is used a lot in Filipino dishes, but I've never heard it with the other ingredients like black beans and green papaya. Sounds interesting. Normally when I hear bangus it's either fried or in a sinagong type of dish.

This dish we usually cook in Iloilo... Really good specially after all those meat from thanksgiving dinner hehe
